CAIS 3:1 is NIOD’s third-generation multi-award-winning Copper Amino Isolate Serum. Copper Amino Isolate Serum: 3:1 replaces 2:1. This pro-repair, pro-collagen serum targets all apparent indications of skin ageing indirectly in a revolutionary way to preserve healthy skin. This indirect method respects skin health rather than addressing outward signs of skin ageing.

The previous iteration of CAIS comprised 2% pure GHK peptide, of which 1% branched with copper ions upon mixing, generating 1% freshly-assembled, pro-repair GHK-Cu (copper peptides) and 1% free-form, pro-collagen GHK; the final ratio was 1:1. The new composition contains 1% GHK peptide and 1% pre-assembled and totally stable GHK-Cu by weight without mixing. Since this formula no longer requires GHK peptide for copper complexation and no other copper source is added, it is called CAIS 3 1:1 to reflect its ingredient ratio.

Tripeptide-29, Acetyl Tetrapeptide-2, and Trifluoroacetyl Tripeptide-2 promote collagen in CAIS 3 1:1. Mono-dispersed, plant-derived glycogen, availability-enhancing Myristoyl Nonapeptide-3, and cross-linked hyaluronic acid form its foundation.

SUPEROXIDE DISMUTASE SACCHARIDE MIST (SDSM2)

An important daily force against oxidative stress, water loss, and the appearance of inflammation, all of which contribute to the gradual loss of visible skin quality over time, is SDSM2, the second generation of SDSM, NIOD’s dermal therapy mist—not to be confused with a “toner”—. The 240 ml mist container is large enough to be used liberally and often all over the body and face as needed.

With SDSM2, the formula gains two new capabilities: 2) a pH-balanced extract of malachite rock or copper carbonate hydroxide mineral, which provides additional direct scavenging of the superoxide radical; and 1) a more potent Superoxide Dismutase that was originally isolated from grape skin yeast and has an exceptionally high activity of up to 55,000 pyrogallol autoxidation inhibitor units per millilitre. In addition to being a more stable supply of SOD, the new yeast has a naturally turquoise hue that, when combined with the saturated and brighter colour of malachite, makes SDSM2 look even better.

The newest member of NIOD’s core regimen collection, Copper Amino Isolate Lipid (CAIL) 1%, is based on the idea of the multi-award-winning Copper Amino Isolate Serum but uses a patented, re-engineered format of copper peptides.

Skin that seems healthy usually has a delicate equilibrium of glycosaminoglycans (GAGs), extracellular proteins like elastin and collagen, and lipids on the surface of the epidermis, corneocytes, adipocytes, and sebocytes.

In a delicate blue gel-like system, CAIL 1% provides a concentrated attempt to reach all of the aforementioned skin components through lipophilic routes, bringing the skin to an ideal state to increase size and resilience. LOW-VISCOSITY CLEANING ESTER (LVCE)

Unlike alcohol or acids, this skin-friendly ester is incredibly emollient and uses the strength of its enemy to win. Its structure is nearly identical to a wide variety of emollients found in skincare and makeup, which is bad for clean skin. Because of this structural similarity, this ester can reconstitute or break down these formulations just by being similar to them. This versatile ester can dissolve even the most complicated topical formulations—silicones, oils, pigments—in a matter of seconds, regardless of whether water is present or not.

An Ester of Lauric Acid and Isoamyl Alcohol. Another skin-friendly cleanser that can dissolve even the most long-lasting UV filters utilized in modern sun protection and skincare products is this ester, which has no known interactions with acids or alcohols. This ester is specially prepared to cleanse the skin and pores from UV screening technologies, which are notoriously difficult to fully remove from the skin.

Lax skin, produced by a lack of the enzyme elastase and the shortened protein progerin, which leads to defective cellular aging, can be alleviated with the application of these technologies. (Some publications spell or even worse, confuse Elastin with Elastase, which are “good” and “bad” respectively.)
Contrary to popular belief, this technology does not involve sodium hyaluronate or any other type of hyaluronic acid found in skincare products. Instead, it can enhance the appearance of dermal density, leading to a new kind of visible elasticity that is unrelated to elastin.
